About This Site

This site is a reference for Star Trek: Outposts Unknown, the outpost builder from Magic Fuel Games and Playstack. It is written for people who are already playing, or who are deciding whether to.

What is covered

• The launch build of the game as it stands on October 20, 2026, checked on October 21.
• Systems in enough detail to act on: production chains, the research ladder, crew stats and shifts, layouts, planets, threats, the campaign structure and all 53 achievements.
• Numbers only where the game or the developers published them. Where a figure comes from the game's interface rather than a patch note — the nine crew stats, the four-stage Ops Center objective chain, the requirement tiers — the page says so.

What is not covered

Datamined content, unreleased patch contents, and speculative build guides. If a mechanic has not been observed in the launch build or described by the developers, it is not on these pages.

Sources

Three kinds, in order of weight: the Steam store description and the developers' own devlogs; the game's on-screen interface as captured in official screenshots; and player reports from the Steam forums, used for behaviour rather than for numbers.
